Like many of you, I was excited for the Dream Drive Pro improvements in the Lucid Gravity 2.4 update, especially Lane Change Assist. But after testing it on a 4-lane divided highway (2 lanes each way), I couldn’t get it to activate at all.

After calling support, I was told that Lane Change Assist only works when you're in the middle lane—but what if there is no middle lane? That makes it completely useless for a lot of highways. Seems like a pretty big oversight in the design.

On a positive note:
✔ The new HomeLink location when backing out of the garage is a great addition, much-needed and well-implemented.
✔ The new connectivity status icon at the top of the instrument cluster is helpful, even though it took me a minute to figure out what it meant.

Anyone else struggling with Lane Change Assist on certain roads? Is there a workaround, or are we stuck waiting for another update?

Hey, the "middle lane" is just for calibration, according to a post from another forum. Once it's done, it won’t matter. On a 6+ lane highway, calibration usually happens within a few miles. As for 4-lane highways, give it time, calibration’s on its way!
