Texas summers are killer, and while my Lucid Air's AC is okay once it gets going, it's not super fast. My real problem is trying to cool the car down before I get in. The Lucid app is a total pain compared to my old Tesla's it takes forever to connect, sometimes it just won't connect at all, and it gets stuck on "Waking Up Vehicle." Then I have to mess around with the app just to turn the AC on. Lucid, please fix the app! It shouldn;t take so long to connect, especially when I have good cell service. And let us turn on the AC before it connects so it starts automatically. Anyone else in hot places having this issue?

I think the problem with the Lucid's remote climate control is its onboard processors. They're probably not powerful enough. Hopefully the next Air will be better, but I'm not holding my breath for a fix for our cars.

The biggest frustration with the Lucid, especially after experiencing a Tesla, is the lack of app connectivity. I’ve had to go back to using the physical key to unlock the car and access the charging port, which at least works reliably. However, it doesn’t help with controlling basic features like turning on the AC or heating, which feels like a major step backward in tech.
