Affordable Insurance Options for Lucid Owners

I recently received my insurance renewal notice and was shocked to see a 65% increase in my premium. I understand that rates can rise, but this jump seems excessive. I'm now in the market for a new insurance provider that offers reasonable rates for Lucid vehicles without compromising on coverage.

Has anyone had positive experiences with specific insurance companies or agents in the U.S. for their Lucid? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

EV repair costs can be expensive. My friend just got into a problem in his Lucid, and the insurance quote was astronomical. I'm thinking a high deductible might be the way to go. It's a gamble, but it could save you a lot of money in the long run. Plus, with those long repair times, loss of use coverage becomes even more important.

I've been with State Farm for years, including my 2022 DEP, which I insured for $500k per accident and $250k per person. My annual premium in Portland was around $1,850, which I think is reasonable considering my good driving record and credit score. I also bundle other policies with State Farm.
