Hey everyone, I’ve been loving my Lucid Gravity and so far, it’s been a flawless experience, 16,000 miles in and zero issues with the car itself, which feels pretty awesome to say.

That said, I just ran into a hiccup with the charging cable that came with the car, it suddenly failed, and now I need to replace it. I’m curious, has this happened to anyone else? If so, was the replacement covered under warranty, or did you have to pay out of pocket?

I’ve already reached out to Lucid support, but I wanted to check with the community to see if anyone has insights or suggestions in the meantime.

16,000 miles without a hiccup, nice work! You really took care of your LG! Curious though. Was there any warning? or did the cable just stop working? I’ve had no trouble with mine, but hearing about this makes me want to grab a backup cable. Which I will probably search online now. Hopefully, Lucid covers it under warranty, but if they don’t, third-party cables might save you a few bucks.

My charging cable started overheating after just a 3-5% charge, indicated by four red flashes. I'll be reaching out to service today to get this sorted out.
