Lucid Air Touring vs Tesla Model S

Alright, I need some advice. Just test drove the Lucid Air Touring and Tesla S LR. Lucid totally won me over. The drive, the tech, the looks, it’s all.

BUT.… charging. I live in an apartment, so no home charging, meaning I’d have to rely on Electrify America (yikes). Tesla, on the other hand, has Superchargers that just work.

So, is the Lucid worth the potential charging struggles, or should I stick with Tesla for the easy charging life? What would you do?

The Lucid Air Touring is amazing, but let’s be real, public charging without home charging is a pain.

Tesla wins for charging reliability. Superchargers are everywhere, they work, and you don’t have to think about it.
Electrify America is inconsistent, some stations are great, others are nightmares.
Lucid is moving to Tesla’s Supercharger network in 2025, but that doesn’t help you now.

If charging is your top priority, Tesla makes life easier. But if you’re willing to deal with some extra charging headaches to drive the car you love, Lucid will eventually get better in the long run.

Lucid’s amazing, but relying on Electrify America can be frustrating. If road trips matter, Tesla’s network wins. Otherwise, Lucid’s experience might be worth it.

Lucid delivers a super smooth ride and comes loaded with awesome features, though they're still ironing out some of the software kinks. Even with that.. they’re definitely making strides, and I’d totally recommend the brand all in all!
