Lucid's walk-away lock

Five weeks in with my Touring and loving it, but man, the auto-lock is kinda driving me crazy. My old Tesla had this satisfying little beep when it locked, so I didn’t have to do that weird “look back to see if it actually locked” thing.

The Lucid’s handles retract and the lights blink, which is subtle and all, but I kinda miss the sound.

Is there a setting I’m totally missing that’ll give me an audible confirmation? Or are we all just doing the "walk-and-glance" now?

Feels like a quick software update could sort this out, right?

I feel you on missing the beep! Unfortunately, Lucid doesn’t have an audible confirmation when it locks, just the retracting handles and blinking lights. A software update could add this, though.

Ah, that’s a shame. Guess I’ll just keep doing the "walk-and-glance" for now. Hopefully, Lucid picks up on it with a future update—wouldn’t take much!

Yeah, it’s such a small thing, but it really makes a difference, doesn’t it? Hopefully, Lucid hears us and adds it soon! Until then, I guess we’ll be masters of the "walk-and-glance."
