Hello! What do you guys thing about Lucid Air Sapphire Armored Vehicle?

An armored version of a Lucid Air Sapphire sounds cool, but I’m wondering how much the extra weight will affect performance. Armoring typically adds a ton of bulk, which could hurt range, acceleration, and handling. If Lucid can keep the weight down and maintain that hypercar-like speed, it could be a game-changer for luxury security vehicles.

Armoring a car usually messes with its performance, but Lucid might just have a trick up their sleeve. If they go with lightweight materials like carbon fiber or some fancy advanced composites, they could probably keep the hit to performance pretty low. It’d be pretty cool to see if they can nail the balance—serious protection without totally tanking the performance.
