Key fob and car system issues

Hello everyone! Today my car started acting weird. First, my key fob doesn't open the car when I get close to it, and second, if I want to change from one profile to another, it takes years. What could be the cause?

If you’re using a couple of different ways to unlock your car - like both your phone and a key fob - watch out, they can mess with each other. I learned this the hard way. Everything worked perfectly fine when I used just one or the other, but as soon as both tried to connect at once, things got super glitchy. Honestly, it’s way easier to just stick to one at a time to keep things smooth.

I've noticed that for it to actually work right, the batteries gotta be fresh. Even if there's still some juice left, if they're not full, it just doesn't cut it for me, no matter where I'm positioned.

To me, it sounds like a syncing problem. I have had similar frustrations with profile changes taking forever, sometimes up to 30 seconds. Have you checked the fob batteries? How are those? Weak ones can cause delays. Also, check for updates.

Last month, my key fob stopped working. I had to use the app, but it took a while. Kinda scary to think about.

One time, my key fob stopped working properly, and profile switching became painfully slow. It turned out to be a weak car battery and outdated software causing the delays. I had the software updated and the battery checked, and everything went back to normal. You might want to try that as a first step, that is if you've not tried what other suggested

Hey, thanks! And sorry for the late reply. The problem was fixed by itself. I don't know exactly what was the cause. Maybe the car's battery was on low.
