Smaller battery but more range?

Okay, so Lucid’s saying the 2025 Air Pure has more range with a smaller battery. How’s that even possible? Some crazy efficiency breakthrough? And yeah, heat pumps are standard now—cool. But are those “new-gen” infotainment upgrades actually impressive, or just fluff to make it sound better? Thoughts?

Lucid’s range claim? No idea! I’ve been thinking about the future of EV battery tech, could there be a big efficiency breakthrough? Possibly. As for infotainment upgrades seems like just extra fluff to me.

Yeah, I'm curious if it’s just clever marketing or if they actually pulled off something major with battery tech. It’d be wild if they did. As for the infotainment, yeah, I’m leaning towards fluff too, unless they really fix the bugs and make it smoother to use. Would love to be surprised, though!
